its basically great in every way!
also small question: is it possible to make a streamlined version? like the wheels are covered, front windshield. basically make it possible to make it look closely like the Redbull X2014 from Gran Turismo 6? -

Gnarlex™Version: 1.0.2- 2/5,
It drives really crappy since it has wheelspin even in sixth gear, but the rest is pretty much ok.

chuga_moVersion: 1.0.2- 2/5,
i have used the ctrl+q thing but they are just uncontrollable, very much unlike the FR16 that could actually go round a corner full throttle without spinning into a wall

James350Version: 1.0.2- 5/5,
Good but i have no i idea how to change tire type, also crashing needs some improvement but the best in the business

pallukkaVersion: 1.0.2- 4/5,
For some reason the tires won't work for me, is there anyway to fix it? Still really fun mod

SpeedemonVersion: 1.0.2- 5/5,
I have no idea why there are so many people are complaining about the fact that the FR17 has less grip than the FR16. BeamNG.Drive is supposed to be realistic. The FR16 was not realistic. The FR17 is the most realistic thing we can get to a real F1 car. It actually requires skill to drive.

ignitoVersion: 1.0.2- 4/5,
It's a great mod and improvement upon the FR16.
The transmission doesn't require the clutch anymore, as it got kind of weird when using clutch and paddle shifts. The model itself is much more realistic; the nose isn't a hard edged brick anymore, the wheelbase and overall shape seems more accurate to current F1 cars, varied and dynamic wings, detailed wheel and stig. The rear wheels also don't look as if they're about to rattle off their axle in 1st gear or reverse. Optional real life liveries are good too.
The handling is also much different though, as full throttle in 2nd-3rd will almost immediately spin. Same to be said if you give it a tiny bit more mid-corner. Gonna have to be much more light and precise on the gas. Also, compared to the FR16, the 17 doesn't feel like there's as much downforce, since in the 16 you can almost floor it through broader corners and you were practically glued to the tarmac. Not so much in the 17, because it's much easier to mess up and lose control or understeer. I know there's ESC, but in most cases, I don't believe ESC is used in real life, nor was it in the FR16.
Now this review is coming from someone with no F1 experience other than some short clips and small forum posts, so I cannot say whether the FR16 or 17 is more realistic in terms of handling. What I can say, however, is that the FR17 is still fun to try and race in, and worth a download.
