A V6 turbocharged engine for the FR17 mod cars

    This is my first mod so don't expect anything perfect!

    This mod brings to the FR17 mod the V6 Turbo engine of the new F1 cars.

    To use this mod you need the original FR17 mod from Raider.





    What's new in 0.2:
    • Added MGU-H
    • Added MGU-K
    Each with its specific job: if you remove the MGU-H the turbocharger and/or the engine will overheat, if you remove the MGU-K the engine will lose about 160HP/120KW

    Known bugs/issues:

    -The engine sometimes explodes with no obvious reasons
    -The gearing is awful
    -It has no custom sounds because they overwrites the "original" custom sound of the mod
    -The lights on the dash don't turn on when the engine is off

    I need some help to fix those issues;)

    Had a Blast racing around Akron Motor Speedway (Oval Circuit) using AI as AI can drive it a lot smoother then I can when it's flat out at 360km/h though the air speed app claimed 390km/h.. I did notice the engine would break more often when ESC was disabled... Well Done.

    i think the exploding is caused by overtorque. try upping the value in the engine jbeam.

      The value maxTorqueRating is set to -1 so the engine cant get damaged by overtorque
