    GAZ Volga 24

While generally I don't like reproducing real-life cars, this is another exception. I've always liked and wanted to have a Volga 24, manufactured by Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod (GAZ) in 1970. Using a non-modded Automation, there are obviously limits to how close-to-life it turned out, as there isn't a car body type that matches it exactly (I picked the closest one I could find, and morphed it as close as it could get), so I've provided a RL picture of the car to compare my creation to. As far as technical specs are concerned, my Volga 24 is a near-perfect clone of the real thing, right down to the curb weight, brakes, and suspension configuration, with only 2nm of torque offset (189 in my version, vs 187 of the rl car) in the engine (try as hard as I might, I couldn't get the engine to precisely reproduce the real car's power output). https://www.ultimatespecs.com/car-specs/GAZ/19986/GAZ-Volga-24.html

It does have a manual-locking rear diff, not sure if the real car had it, but that's my bit of artistic license, since it makes sense to me that a car as rugged and adapted to rough conditions as this, would have some assist off-road. It's still RWD, so there's only so much it can do off-road, but with the manual diff, there's a margin for error, and it feels comfortable exploring off the tarmac, as long as you don't push too far out.

First pic is of the real car I used as a template, the rest are of my reproduction, in it's natural environment :)

Heh. For it's time, it was actually a pretty good midrange family car, Even compared to most Western designs. And built like a tank. :)
