Map looks dope, but i cant even get it to load.
Will update review when an update for this map fixes the forest freeze.

FYI: Beamng Log gets stuck at forest no matter what. there is literally nothing after the forest line.
When loading its stuck on forest no matter what.
And potato pc aint the issue, ryzen 2700x 16gbram rtx2060super here.
Spent about 10 min trying to load the map patiently the first time. But i ended up trying to load it not under 5 times, and some more trials with the game in safe mode.
Just because you can load the map doesnt make it any less broken for others. there is absolutely something wrong with this map and you should keep looking into it until you can find a fix. until then its gonna hurt reviews and people arent gonna be able to enjoy this amazing map once again.
I remember playing this map on an older laptop and it would run actually. i dont know what you added in it for it to be broken this way.

Im gonna wait patiently until you hopefully get a reply from the devs to fix this issue. its very annoying, for me and others who wants to play the map.

(thanks for the update anyways, its nice to see it again, just this major issue thats in the way of this map)

  Works well enough for me and others, how would I troubleshoot it exactly?
  I guess the way the old forest gets converted over to the new system is buggy. Weird how inconsistent the map is on different systems. If I had other systems to test it on it would help. As I have a sample size of one to work with I'm stuffed.

  Well that sucks. It loads up in 1 minute 29 seconds from a completely closed game for me. How would I troubleshoot it if its not broken on my end? Any ideas?

Very impressive city. You have to cooperate with Bob Blunderton to build perfect city of the BeamUniverse. But the load TOO SLOW. I don't know what is the problem, but I leave load the map at 0% after some minutes of start loading and went to walk. IDK exact time to initial load. (May be couple hours %)

  I just timed the loading on my pc. The total time including starting the game from closed was 1 minute 29 seconds. Its a big map with a lot of objects. The first time loading will take longer because it generates all the cached files. Probably not much I can do about load times without removing stuff and making the map smaller.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS You don't know how much I longed for this map to be revived!!!!!!! Sure it takes a while to load but it runs fine afterward, ~35fps on a 7 year old PC. This was the granddaddy to all City Maps and it has probably the most fun Highway system I've ever seen

Also for me, stuck at loading screen, when it wants to load the terrain, wont be my setup, its highend. Having it from the repo, so wont something with the zip file I guess.

  At what point is it getting stuck? its loading fine my end. I don't know what the system requirements are for this map, but I guess its quite high.

  No idea, its a big map with lots of stuff to load. It loads for me and apparently others. It's a resource hog that's for sure. You should just put the zip file in your mods folder like everything else. if you have an old version I would clear out files and the cache. Beyond that I'm out of ideas right now.

Any time I spawn in traffic it crashes my game. I thought my computer was pretty good but I guess not. Any plans to fix this?

  erm, wasn't aware of that happening to me. Though I tend to lag a bit with 3 cars on this map so I just stick to one or two.
  The map is quite a hog to run. If you wait does do they eventually load or does it quit to desktop?
