Beta HARFANG 306 1.0

The end of Group B (yes again) gave born to the WRC, less power, less money but that was for save the rallye who was to dangerous...
In this era Subaru with their Impreza was winning everithing !
Powerfull and with a 4 wheel drive transmition coupled with strong pilots, it was really hard to stand side with them !

But one day, Peugeot asked if it was possible to put a FWD to the WRC, and the admins says yes but you must have 2500 road legal version of the car you want to engage.
Did they realy do it ?

They invented the "Kit Car" and from that little 306, borned the rallye one and the MAXI...



The Peugeot 306 s16 got 167HP out of an atmospheric 2L inline 4 shared with the front wheels FWD.
With 1100 kg, it is fast and agile !



The 306 MAXI took the same engine but upgraded it a little bit because now she makes 280 hp at 8800 RPM and for less than a Ton !
An insane track machine !



I loved the time i spent with these cars, and the thing that make me happy is that i everyday see one or more 306 because in france it's a car that does everything !
They're pretty fun and affordable if you want some old body like this !

Like always i try my best to get the as close as possible to the real ones !
From the bore/stroke of the engine, the power curve, the wheels, the brakes etc ...

With that, Drive not too wisely and cruise with style !
