Beta HARFANG 80 quattro 1.0

The glorious Audi quattro ! queen of rallying and by far, the most exiting sound ever made in rallye.

But let's go back to the begining.

The audi 80 was the first car in 4WD to win rallyes, with the help of Michelle Mouton, the first and last woman to ever win a rallye cup, but at the start it was not really a thing.

It started progresively from 200 to around 320 hp at the end of this car that was replaced by the Audi Sport Quattro who made the Quattro E1 and E2, and who was the last audi to ever race in group B.

Let's skip some details because, the one we're talking qbout now is the audi 80 1600 who, said with her name, has a 1600 cc inline four producing a wapping 75 H.
FWD, because every audi who was not 4WD were FWD.



Now the 80 quattro, with an Inline 5 N/A producing 136 HP to the 4 wheels due to a central differential locking and a 5 speed manual transmition.



Now the one you probably all know, the Coupe quattro !
It was the homologation special car for rallying.
this one has a 200hp turbo inline 5 and the quattro system.
She is called the "UR" quattro too.



Welcome to rallye section !
based on the original 80 sedan, she has a N/A 2.2l inline 5 producing the same 200hp but with less weight and little more sound !



The last i will present to you is the Quattro roadster concept, who was a strange thing but pretty cool for me.

Definitions:
FWD : Front wheel drive, only the front wheels are powered by the engine
RWD : Rear wheel drive, only the rear wheels are powered by the engine
AWD/4WD : some differences between them but it explain that every 4 wheels are powered by the engine
N/A : Naturaly aspirated, fact when an engine isn't helped by some turbochargers or superchargers
I2/I3/I4/I5 etc... : Inline (...) describe the engine architecture and here, says that the cylinders are placed in a single line
V2/V4/V6/W8 etc... : Describes a type of engine made by 2 inline engines placed in a singular V, some are more or less angle (from 16° for VR6 to 180° for the testarosa V12)
HP : Is a power unit to describe the amount of torque for the RPM that the engine can produce
RPM : Rotation Per Minit
CC/L : Cubic Centimeter or Liter, describe the entire capacity of envery cylinder chamber and is a way to know the size of the engine.
Diff : differential
LSD : Limited Slip Differential

Like always i try my best to get the as close as possible to the real ones !
From the bore/stroke of the engine, the power curve, the wheels, the brakes etc ...

This mod is far from being perfect but be patient, i will not stop my research until it will.
