Great when it works but it causes my game to crash most times I attempt to load it even with 5 cars. Runs fine when it runs so I don't think its cpu. (8600K @ 4.5ghz). What I experience is that as soon as the loading screen goes away and it starts rendering the cars the game freezes and crashes.

Ive seen others play this and otehr reviews and it seems really good, however im having a problem, all cars are spawning under the surface and falling into the void. Resetting didnt work, what should i do?

Hmm that's odd. I have no idea except the usual such as clearing cache, safe mode or starting with a fresh BeamNG install.

Loved the races,playing with the G27 wheel is reaaly good and challeging.The only problem that i had constantly was the purple D-15 truck on the hirochi circuit.That thing kept getting stuck on the guard rails causing the other cars to crash..other than that,no problems!

thank you for the most amount of fun i've ever had in beam, getting between 30 and 40 fps with 9ai on the road and i havent even tried the dirt ones yet!

Flatout 1 & 2 are fantastic games for sure. Thanks for the review and liking the configs. Creating those was very enjoyable and it teached me alot about the car customisation. A great feature to have, I didn't really use it much before, except adding tow hitches or swapping engines.

Awesome update! this should be an official scenario in the game.
I really like the fact that you can't see shit through the dirt clouds in the first few corners. It really requires you to be alert at all times or you'll be a pancake in no time x)
The asphalt race is more competitive as the AI usually lasts longer, but still has the derby feel to it.

Thanks a lot, that is great to hear since it was my main intention with the 2 races. First corner in the dirt track might give an idea of how multiplayer would look like ;)
Agree on the dust clouds especially in the cockpit view with all AI in front can make the first lap feel very intense.

My only complaint with the updated version is that the AI seems to have gotten sloppier, with most if not all of the AI cars crashed out at about the half-way point in a race.
Other than that, it's great.-

Thanks for the feedback, the AI might be a little more prone to spinning since all the configs made the cars lighter. I've spent quiet a lot of time on getting them to race "normal" the first 4 laps. From then on it's just BeamNG doing its thing hehe ;) That's why the 4/8 lap variations. Fps also seems to influence the outcome. Hard to balance that if you want them racing close together on such track for a longer time.

This is a great mod I've been waiting for another figure 8 scenario for a while now since the last one that was on the mod boards quit working a few updates ago. Great job I'm having a great time with it!

nice scenario. but i think it would be better with ability to change other cars. that's not a big deal if faster cars will drive slowly, i'll be fine with it. but it will make even more RNG, which i prefer more. big speeds also bad for AI
PS. waiting scenario for 2 crossroads track on derby map ;)
one bug - race ends after whoever is in first cross the finish line, even AI-

Thanks a lot, yes totally agree about the opponent cars. It's on the to-do list for sure same as that other track ;)
The ending logic is a placeholder atm mostly copied from the vanilla derby race, but waiting for the player to cross the finish is actually a great idea.

That's a neat idea, I'll have a look at whats possible with the trailers and add more race configs to choose from if they're any fun to race.

You can race any car you like in this scenario. Disable "competitive scenario conditions" in options > gameplay, then load the scenario and start the race, open the car spawner and replace current verhicle, reset physics (R) to restart the scenario with you newly spawned vehicle.

This is excellent! Would it be possible to allow users to set the opponent list? Either that or publish a version with the stock derby type cars?

I'd love to add some sort of opponent customization in the future. Main issue atm are the recorded AI lines. Lets say you record a not-so-fast AI line in the slowest car and then swap it out with a fast drag car. The drag car will only be driving the slow speed of the previous recorded AI line and not at what it's capable of. So it's quiet difficult to get functioning AI lines for all the configurations available, but I'm looking into giving the starting field more variety.
