Description:
This pack adds a 1.8/2.0 Engine to the Mistral, together with a sequel of configs. The powertrain itself comes from Sunburst, with minor tweaks that allows it to suit the little Hatchback. Configs contain different trim levels based on Vanilla contents, F2 Rally Kit Cars with high-revving 2 litre screamers, a Superproduction-Spec Group N Touring car, and a "born to burn"customized tuner.

In 1997, together with the facelift, Hirochi Heavy Industry Corporation released the Mistral 2000 series, operating the "New Millennial" Powertrain. Star of the show is the 2.0 4 cylinder engine, with standard- equipped Double Overhead Cams, 16 valves, direct injection, variable valve timing and lift and more. A low cost 1.8 8V version with fewer gimmicks was also applied on the base model. Apart from the traditional 4AT and 5MT transmission, a close-ratio racing-delivered 6MT was appeared on the performance SX GT model, together with an experimental CVT as a option on top-of-the-line Monarch model for best riding quality.
Right after it was released, it caused a sensation all over the world. The 2000 instantly took the market by storm. Lower manufacture and maintenance cost made the 2.0 a suitable replacement of the odd wacky 1.6 V6, and the sporty SX and SX GT model became the all-time favourite of street racers and tuners, unleashing all the potential from the New Millennial 2 Litre. Also, the 2000 was a great weapon in racing, with many teams operating the hatchback, from production-spec circuit racing to kit car rallies. Even after the end of production, the engine was still loved by most people, so beloved that when the engine appeared again on the new Hirochi compact sedan, the Sunburst, the automotive world went into madness, once again.
