Outdated Hybrid Roamer! 0.1

The Gavril Roamer now has a hybrid engine!

    I have now implemented a 3.3L I6 "hybrid" engine to the roamer!

    Disclaimer: it is not a true "hybrid" yet, because the game does not support that feature yet. I have based this motor off the electric code, but with gas engine features :)

    as of right now, it comes with 1 config. More will be added later.

    It produces 166BHP, which is roughly the same of the 4.1L I6: 164BHP

    It also has a long range continuously variable transmission, to get off the line quickly, yet be efficient at the same time.

    If you are driving at or below 40 MPH and let go of the accelerator, then the torque converter will disengage and the motor will stop. To begin driving, simply press the accelerator. :D

    Comparison:
    If you are driving the 4.1L I6 roamer at 75MPH on flat ground, then you will get ~13MPG.

    If you are driving the Hybrid 3.3L I6 roamer at 75MPH on flat ground, then you will get ~30MPG.

    This mod is in alpha, so that means there will be a lot more things added later on.

    KNOWN BUGS: Thermal simulation does not work, as well as oil and flooding.

    Four stars because it's not a proper hybrid, but that's not your fault. I hope it'll be possible soon! I'd like to drive a Prius or Prius-type vehicle where you can choose between electric and petrol :)

    Good idea. Bad thing that we cant have two engines at the same time. For the guy of CVT, CVT means Continous Variable Transmision, not constant velocity -_-

      Hopefully, the devs will add multiple engine support soon. As of right now, I've just used electric code connected with gas code, to work together :)
