Ever feel like the bus was a bit too quiet and needed more diesel about it? Well look no further than this authentic I6 D2866 engine sound from a Man bus. Recorded from the exterior view with a few filters added, plus the ones already game (thanks devs) this is very clear but still WIP sound for the bus which revs up to 2500 rpm max with a 575 idle.
I wanted to try to add retarder sounds and off throttle sounds to make it sound much more realistic in the interior however finding scalable samples, without having a seperate audio function to pull from is proving a little difficult so in the future I may have to add them to the off-throttle sounds and see if they fit properly.
I have engine start and engine shut off sounds, however I'm currently trying to figure out how to get them working properly in game, hence why I feel this is till WIP for now

Thanks :). It's finding the samples which is the problem heh. I do have 2 other versions but they both need proper retarder sounds to sound authentic so we'll see.
There is one other I'm trying to obtain...so expect some more bus sounds in the future :).
