Wow -- this is awesome. It gives me serious Crysis vibes. I feel like I'm back on the Lingshan Islands ready to Nano-beatdown my way through everything!

I'm a big fan of atmosphere and environmental storytelling, and having the relatively well-kept roads and buildings combined with the overgrowth of foreign foliage speaks of a sudden, catastrophic change that drove all the citizens away, and now I'm here alone trying to figure out what to do.

I've taken some drives on the shoreline roads, dirt roads, and the highway as well as in the city areas, and man -- the vibes don't stop! I'm super happy with your work, and I can already tell I'm going to be spending a lot of time here.

My only small gripe - and it's an inconvenience rather than a problem - is the necessity of deactivating the mod to get the regular Italy back. I'd prefer to have the two side by side in the map menu. That being said, I'm not a modder, and I know with Beam there can be hours of work involved in the simplest task, so I'll gladly do the activate/deactivate thing if it means I get to keep enjoying your amazing work!

  Thank you, and I'm glad you feel this way driving here! That said, I completely not saw this side of things, but yeah, it could pretty fit in a post apocalyptic setup, might be an idea to keep...
  About making it independant from the master Italy map, yeah I wanted to do that, but AFAIK this would mean to duplicate the whole content of the map, and there are several reasons I didnt do that. First is the archive size generously exceeding whats allowed on the repo, second is that i wanted to keep all the gameplay elements and future updates of the native map blending with this "skin". Let's see how it evolves in the future tho...

This is amazing! To capture that Hawaii TDU feel better though, the European road textures/designs should probably be replaced with the American road textures (yellow lines and stuff), and US road signs.

  Thank you! Nice idea, this should work, I'll give it a shot when I can. But TBH it would still lack the american houses and such, and I feel like going too far would mean making a map from scratch. This isnt something to exclude tho, could fit in a future rally series, after I'm done with the mediterranean special. We're talking distant future, tho!

  TBH I was quite surprised (in a good way) with the results of the experiment. Not sure it works good every time, but its not something to overlook I guess ^^

In the upcoming weeks mod approvals could be slower than normal.
