The Janeiro 5 is a 5-door hatchback based entirely on the Zughumi Paidui. The substantial changes are in the aesthetics, which has been made slightly more off-road, and in the gearbox, which is now automatic. There is now a panoramic sunroof placed on the central part of the roof. The brakes have been slightly increased and there has been an attempt to further lower production costs.
The engine is an EcoDrive3 equipped with VVT, a 73 horsepower 1.0 turbo, with a 6-speed automatic transmission, guaranteeing consumption for over 23 km with a liter of petrol.
