In 2019, the Janeiro flagship debuts, codenamed JE280 V6. The vehicle had been in the projects of the Janeiro-Zughumi joint venture for some time, however Zughumi Sport gave up on V6 engines and it was decided that the premium sedan of this range with this engine would have the Janeiro brand. The engine is a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6, delivering 132 kW (180 horsepower) coupled with an advanced 8-speed automatic gearbox.
