During the Group B rally days, Je M'appelle entered a small turbocharged hatchback, called the Vitesse into the 1985 and 1986 seasons. The company saw moderate success, winning two rallyes, including the formidable Monaco Rally. However, the team experienced constant reliability issues, so they were unable to compete with Audi and Peugeot.
15 years later, Je M'appelle was about to go bankrupt, and in a move of desperation, they took a new generation Vitesse and shoved a screaming V6 under the hood. Fitted with wide arches, an aluminum monocoque chassis, ABS, top-of-the-line suspension, front wheel drive (they ran out of budget), and all the beautiful ugliness of a French automobile.
Unique features of the Je M'appelle Vitesse V6 include having a fuel cap on both sides of the car for ease of refueling, a red trim along the bottom of the windshield that pays homage to their victory in Monaco, and a pistol and beer bottle free of charge.
