Get ready for a long one since i dont like leaving undescriptive bad reviews.
Ill be pointing out all the problems ive found. First, the Gm 350 small block sounds like a gta SA engine, and the torque curve is all sorts of messed up also the engine model is yet to be changed. the 6.0 powerstroke has a very loud sound increase when you go over 2k rpms and i don tthink a stock 6.0td makes 430hp and 780nm and theres barely any smoke with even the heavy smoke tune. the 6.5d makes a much more reasonable amount of power but there is no reason for it to take 5 seconds to start, also the engine block naming is weird, the sounds arent half but but the idle sounds bad. the 6.6D has a very weird power curve, makes unreasonable amounts of power and the sounds also seem to sound like old gta. the 6.7 has an even weirder power curve, makes absurdly unreasonable amounts of power and the sounds seem to be from the 6.6d, the turbo also sounds a fuckton but that might be realistic idk. the 6.9 has good enough sounds cuz they are vanilla modified, thereis no turbo in the code but the 3d model still has it. the ls sounds exactly like the gm350 small block, and the 5.3 stock is making 400hp which seems unreasonable. the 454 big block has less power than the Ls even if its a bigger engine, the sounds are the same and the torque curve is a bit messy. *Note that all of the engines still use stock d series engines (gas and diesel) even if the irl engines its trying to mimic are completly different and much older.
The turbocharger intakes for gasoline make no power after 5k rpms so they are usless they also dont have a 3d model at all
the holley efi breaks the engines
The carburated intake and TBI intake have the intake manifold not rendering
The gps speedo Cluster breaks the steering wheel and i cant see whats changed
i dont know if i missed some stuff because i dont know what the mod contains (not including engine tuning and transmissions since i dont know how to judge those) , a list of parts or some custom configs would be nice
then theres also no pictures on the repo page, a bunch of text that no one is gonna read and why the hell did you make a subreddit??? like dude your mod is not that big to require an entire subreddit. also your attitude towards criticsm isnt the best so i hope you take this criticsm nice :p -

Before I review this, I have actually installed and tried out the engines.
The effort is definitely there, but the torque curves could be better. I know they have been adjusted some, but there is still some work to be done.
I mainly tried out the 6.7L Powerstroke, as it is the "cover engine". The idle is good, but when you get going there is a, for lack of a better word, a pretty bad sound loop. Other than that, though, it sounds great.
I don't know why this mod is getting such hate, granted, it isn't a five star mod, but it definitely isn't a two star mod. I'd say a three to four star mod.
Again, the effort is there. You're carving an excellent path in your modding career. Just a few things to be fixed to improve the mods greatly.-

I wanted to go easy but... the torque curves are terrible, sounds are (mostly) terrible not to mention, a good majority of these sounds are stolen from old RoR mods. And the worst part is, you advertise this mod as if it were some big pack adding tons of parts, which it does fairly enough but it's misleading. There's nothing but engines. every update is a "big update" "huge update guys" and then you don't even list the changes. I compared a few of the files which were exactly the same in both versions. I wouldn't call this a "Content Pack" when all it does is add a bunch of doo doo engines with doo doo torque curves and doo doo stolen sound files (no disrespect to the RoR author). Call it what it is, "Josh's Doo Doo Engine Pack". Notice how it says "Engine Pack" because all it adds is engines?

Ok genius. First of all, torque curves are a lot better, second, these are not stolen sounds (maybe you're small brain should check that), third of all, there have been more and more things added over the past little bit (Ex: sled deck), and forth, basically EVERYTHING has been reworked/revamped since the last version. Oh, and also, if you don't like it, make your own mod. How about that?

- 4/5,
With the update, I kind of like it. There are a decent amount of engine options and the sounds while may not be exact replicas are still good. I did some testing on my own. I know nothing about torque curves or whether or not this mod lines up with those kinds of technical specifications, so it is not within my rights to criticize you on that when I don't even know how engines and transmissions fully work. Putting "(Content Pack)" was very helpful in allowing me to narrow down what parts were from the pack and which parts weren't. The mod still has some work to do but as a first mod I believe it is pretty darn good. I can't even figure out how to move an object in blender (yes, I am that stupid) so I shouldn't consider myself in a position to make a one word one star review like a YouTube bot without even trying it. Keep going my guy. A recommendation though, is that if you search "shifter" in the part selection you will notice there is an auto floor shifter, a 5-speed manual floor shifter, and a 6-speed manual floor shifter. Since I know at least two of those transmissions have a 4-speed manual I would recommend adding a 4-speed manual floor shifter as a part. I hope that people may take the time to forgive your past actions and give you a second chance, and that you take that to better the mod. Have a nice day!

Author's Response
Thank you very much. And don't worry, I can't use blender either lol. But good idea with the 4 speed shifter, never thought of that. I'll try to make a 4 speed shifter. Also, the next update will have heads, emissions, adjustable turbos for gas engines that go up to 100psi, straight pipes, glass packs, new and reworked transmissions, better torque curves and much, much more.
Have a good day!!

Better but still some work to be done.
Other than what's been posted the Duramax (auto) can't do more than ~20mph, some of the sounds are off sounding (engines/turbos) & some of the turbos don't seem to show up in the list.
Still, it's getting there & you're learning so nice work so far.-
Author's Response
I'm uploading a video with the new duramax sounds. And I gotta say, it sounds mean. Also, the trans problem is fixed.

There ya go! That's how you go from a 1-star bombed mod to one slowly rising. I know you could do it, I'm proud of you.
Ignore the haters, most of them probably didn't even try the mod. Keep up the good work on improving your mod and making new ones as well. Never let them bring you down with destructive hate. The review section would look better if the forums had members which knew how to understand other people and give constructive criticism instead of destructive.-

I still can’t give it 5 stars, but it’s better now. Good job for a first mod! I doubt I could do this. Just ignore the others who still give you one star reviews, they probably haven’t used the update.

Thanks. Although I can say the toruqe curves suck and the OBS Chevy configs aren't right, those will be fixed in a future update.
