I tried taking a boxer engine from an impreza, making it 3.7l and removing the turbo, while keeping a miata tradition - lightweit, rwd coupe, hence the name - Mabaru Imprata! IMO it turned out great. The car feels very planted, has enough power and is lightweight enough to throw around corners.
