Magnus Egoist X 2.0

A track focused hypercar with a V6 engine and insane performance

    "Now even faster"

"A track hypercar designed to beat records on every asphalt track"
    J-beam modded by Xalinsky
Designed by my friend (looks) & me (initial Automation tuning)

    "Story"

    102.png 103.png
"The design was inspired by a roadgoing Egoist G1 sportscar on the same body that was fully visually designed and partially tuned by me. The Egoist X was originally planned to be a road-going hypercar, then recordbreaking racecar planning to go sub 1:30 on a test track (it did it) , and then i asked Xalinsky to tune it. Now it evolved to it's final form to smash some records with it's mighty aerodynamics, peak G-forces higher than a jet and horsepower ratio over 500 hp/litre from a small 3.3L turbocharged V6"

After intense testing of the 1-st version of the Egoist X, i asked Xalinsky to mod it even further and he came up with absolutely insane performance compared to the V1 which already was extremely powerful track machine. While keeping the layout, the car received a huge performance update including

    "Specs"

"It may look like a generic mid engined RWD layout, hypercar but since the 1-st day of building i decided to use a rarer one instead

Front Engined, AWD, 7 step sequential, Electric diff
    Double-Wishbone (F), Pushrod (R)

    3341 cc (203.8 cui) 90 degree DOHC V6
Magnesium block and alusil heads, 5 valves per cylinder
Billet steel crank, titanium conrods, lightweight forged pistons
9.3:1 compression, Twin Turbos (42 PSI boost)
Direct injection, per cylinder, race intake, 11 000 RPM redline,

"Performance Update" (J-beam editing differences from the 1-st jbeamed version)

    Weight reduction to 972 kgs

Engine power curve editing with the output now being 1819 HP and 1504 Nm of torque. Suspension tuning. Custom engine sound sourced from Xalinsky's Aegis II

Sequential transmission swap cause with Xalinsky's tune it's faster than a DCT (i advice to use arcade mode cause you won't be faster...maybe)

Unique active aero mechanism by Xalinsky, allowing the car to produce even more cornering G-forces and helping the car to turn (also allowing you to set the rear wing downforce level manually among with active aero effectiveness) (IDK how he did it but it really gave this car an advantage in corners even compared to the original trim)

Car is now more crash resistant (but not indestructible) so the aero fixtures won't fall apart after slightly touching a kerb

    "Downforce"
    104.png 105.png 106.png
Downforce measurement method: Using a weightpad and a wind control app with a wind simulating the movement of the car at certain speed. Subtracting the weight of the car (972 kgs) from weightpad readings. You can get less or more downforce by managing the active aero effectiveness and rear wing angle in tuning menu (the former is set at max by default)

    434 kg at 97 kph
    1715 kg at 194 kph
    3952 kg at 299 kph
    6387 kg at 385 kph
    Power/weight ratio: 1.87 hp/kg (1871.4 hp per tonne)

    "Acceleration and Braking"

May not be 100% accurate due to measuring several times and choosing the best result. So they could be worse or vice versa
Tested on a gridmap with launch control during acceleration, ESC off and ABS active

    Acceleration
    0-100: 1.117 | 0-200: 2.230 | 0-300: 4.332 | 0-380: 10.141
    Braking
    100-0: 1.633 | 200-0: 2.104 | 300-0: 2.691 | 380-0: 3.026
    G-Force data
Braking Force Recorded During stopping from V-Max* to zero: 6.77G
Acceleration Force Recorded During launch on a gridmap: 3.34G
Acceleration Force Recorded During launch on a dragstrip: 4.12G
(it's certainly capable of more with perfect launch)

    *V-Max =top speed (385 kph)

    "Track Performance"

"While still being keyboard friendly ,the car is capable of beating it's own
records with ease". The previous version did the N-Ring in 4:52.592 and this one does it... however just"

See the onboards with telemetry and figure out

    Automation Test Track

    N-Ring
(I could've been faster cause I lifted at some corners)

    Spa

The car is able to produce over 11-12G of cornering force with the highest being recorded over 14G on Test Track/Spa. Look at some G-Force readings sourced from the onboards. Probably it's the fastest front engined Automation/Beam car on the repo. I think only the Aegis II is faster than that
*It did 14.6G in a very tight corner in Spa (as i looked at the onboards after posting the car)

    114.png

*G-suit is not included with the car
Nordschleife and Spa were ported by Kirbyguy
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    DISCLAIMER
    * I tested this version of the car in 0.23.5.2 BeamNG version (i can switch to a newer update by using my licensed copy but i don't want to due to my cars being ruined by further updates) and i don't know how different it may handle in newer updates.
Don't tell me if it's broken with further updates, cause i won't ask Xalinsky to fix it. (He tested it in 0.24 and the car seems perfectly fine)
**All testing was done with using active aero effectiveness /rear wing angle values unchanged
( i.e you will get the same values and performance when you'll load the car)
***The car is pretty sensetive and a little bit bouncy at speeds close to top so be careful

    Handling is easily a 10/10, It's like a F1 car XD.

I also like how rear end looks, but I feel as if the front of the car looks a bit strange...

Thanks for the review :) The design was built from scratch with no references from real cars and maybe that's why the front end is a lil bit strange
