McLaren 650S 1.2

A British supercar

I am currently hosting a small event! If you are curious, you can check this topic: https://www.beamng.com/threads/a-friendly-little-challenge-between-players.71413/

    Hi everyone!

Today, @G-Farce and I are releasing a McLaren 650S replica:

This beast was a true nightmare to tune, I would never have been able to release it without the help and the advice of @G-Farce , so thank you mate! :)
As a replica, accuracy was the main concern. You can see here a comparison between the real 650S and the replica:

    Source
To help you keep it under control, this car is equipped with the ESC of the Hiroshi SBR4, and with improved semi-slick rear tires.

    Global information:

    Known issue:
The front headlights are extremely deep, as you can see on those pictures:

Even if they pass through the front wheels, they don’t impact the driving experience.

Like always, feel free to send me any criticism! :)

Five stars! Excellent mod my dude! There is one tiny little problem, there is no door handles. But still this is a wonderfully crafted automation mod. Way better that anything I could make :D

      Hi, thanks for the review!

The problem with the door handles is that they are hidden in the side vents one the real McLaren, which is impossible to replicate in Automation :P

I think everyone can do this, it just ask a lot of time and motivation! Try to learn all the fixtures and to overlay different of them to get the shape you want. With some practice, you will be able to create some crazy design ;)

If you want, you can PM me, I would be happy to give you some advise :)

excellent, The suspension tunning is as balanced as it could be
maybe you could add some aero in there to balance the rear out?

Hi! Thanks for the review! :)

To be honest, the car already use strong aerodynamics. But, all the downforce is on the rear, because this car has insane oversteer issues without that. And even with this aerodynamics, the car was still quite unpredictable, and almost undrivable. This is why we have chosen to artificially increase the rear grip with some jbeam edition, and we have added an extremely efficient ESC. But we know that the balance can be better! A new update, in which G-Farce has improved the front grip, is awaiting for approval!
