Mercedes Benz OM447 engine family for the DT40L V1.0.0

The best bus engine, now in BeamNG

    The OM447 is an engine family produced by Mercedes for the O405 family of buses.
    They come in turbo diesel, naturally aspirated diesel, and CNG versions, from 180HP to 250HP.
    All 3 of these engine have been recreated in BeamNG, including realistic sounds, proper torque curves, proper driving dynamics, and full integration with my Wentward Transmission Pack!

    The diesel powered engine can either be naturally aspirated, with a power of 183HP, or turbocharged to reach 250HP,

    And the CNG engine has 235HP with the turbo.

    Recommended configurations for realism

    My recommendation for the configurations are below
    - OM447 engine with 250HP Turbo
    - Transmission: ZF Ecomat 5HP-500
    - Final Drive: 4.84:1

    - M447hLAG engine with 235HP Turbo
    - Transmission: ZF Ecomat 5HP-502/C
    - Final Drive: 4.84:1

    These configurations are what is used in real life, so for maximum realism, use these configurations

    Dude this is awesome, could you make this engine (and your other engines) Available for the Daewon LN mod? I'd really like to see that happen.

      Hey there, I can try to. If it has its own parts and doesnt reference any parts in the "common" folder, it should be as easy as editing the engine.jbeam of the Daewon. I'll try it out soon. Thanks for the comment!

    We genuinely need to get your engines supported in the Wentward Pack. Having this one in the long Wentward would be a dream. Great stuff once again!

      I will try. Last time I tried, it removed all other engines apart from the stock Gavril TCM

    You've been making great engines for the Wentward for quite a while now, you think you can make some for the T-Series? It'd be nice to have a i5 Scania Engine on it

      Hey there! Thanks for the kind words. I will be making a few engines for the T-series. I'll port over these engines in a later update, and make a few real truck engines too. Scania V8 with open pipe will be first! :D
