Hi!
My objective was quite simple: building a car that can beat the IRL record of the Volkswagen I.D.R. on Pikes Peak, while keeping fairly realistic characteristics. So, I have taken the ModRec RX240, and I have built the ModRec RX299:
My objective was clear, but did I reach it? Well, after hours of testing and tuning, yes! The official record of the I.D.R. is 7min 57sec, and I was able to climb in 7min 49sec with the RX299.
A lot of work has been put in this car. Beside of the improved tires, you will have the choice between two engines:
- A v8 engine producing 590hp or 810hp
- An electric engine producing 820hp
Those 2 engines are more than enough to move the 1096kg of the ModRec:
You will also find a set of fully tunable parts: gearboxes, drivetrains, springs, dampers and swaybars:
I have used the tunable parts to create various configurations:
- Tuned for keyboard users
- Tuned for gamepad users
- Tuned for steering wheel users
Because of those tuning possibilities, you can easily adapt the ModRec to your driving style! All the in-game configs are tuned according to my own tastes (with a touch of oversteer, except for the keyboard-tuned ones), but you can retune them like you want!

If I am not mistaken, your Sicilino is road legal, and my ModRec is a 4.51 billion dollars prototype (according to Automation), so I don't think they can be compared ;)
