MONO MILANO SPIDER
First Generation 1966 – 1975

Mono Automobili S.p.A. is an Italian generalist auto manufacturer. Launched as an affordable halo car, the Milano Spider was at home both going fast on the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast, thanks to its flat six, or just cruising on the fashion-conscious streets of Millan.

Second Generation 1976 – 1983

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The second generation of the Milano was nothing radical, it kept what made the original great, the engine got fuel injection, a bit more power, and was tuned for more revs, the interior was updated to be more comfortable, and the exterior got a new bonnet, new fog lights and new taillights.
Weight: 1178 kg
Power: 150 hp
Torque: 161 nm
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: RWD
Layout: 2 seats
Third Generation: 1984 - 1992

The difficult third act. Designed to be brand new and in tune with the times, this generation of Milano took a hard break from what people loved in the old ones. The boxer engine was replaced with a 2l inline four taken straight from their midsized sedan, it introduced front wheel drive, four seats and a brand-new, blocky, design language to the family. Being heavier and making less power than the previous generation, it is considered unanimously a parts bin special and the worst Milano Spider.
Weight: 1451 kg
Power: 146 hp
Torque: 165 nm
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: FWD
Layout: 4 seats
The fourth generation 2020 – current day
The redemption car. Coming after 28 years hiatus for the model, Mono had to get this one right. They went back to what made the original great, a flat six, rear drive, a nice long bonnet and two seats. The result is a car that loves high revs and is great for blasting down the winding roads of Italy.
