Bruckell's engineers love the classic I6 motor but would be the first to admit its somewhat lacking for performance driving. So when challenged to make a more focused fast-road and track variant of the Moonhawk, using this much loved motor, they jumped at the chance!

Bruckell presents, the Moonhawk Clubsport, a totally revised and rebuilt I6, including increased compression, gas flowed and ported cylinder head port-matched to an optimised inlet manifold and larger carburetor. The bottom end has been treated to forged pistons and H-beam connecting rods, allowing for an increased rev limit and facilitating the use of Nitrous Oxide. A notably more aggressive cam profile has been used, moving peak torque up the rev range dramatically, with the engine now delivering around 215hp @ 5200 RPM, with peak torque of around 230 lb/ft @ 4750 RPM, this has made the engine somewhat peaky, but gives the car a sporting character and willing delivery, whilst maintaining excellent low-speed manners.
Borrowing body parts from the V8 Special, the Clubsport is factory painted in glowing Yellow and Black livery, with a welcoming beige interior, and the sports steering wheel from the V8 Sport model. Weight is down to around 3500lb thanks to the removal of a number of parts not aligned to its fast road intent, side pipe exhaust (*Not legal in all states or countries, please check your local laws), and wide body-colour wheels complete the exterior package.
Chassis revisions include bespoke race-derived suspension, optimised and tuned as such that sway bars are unnecessary (contributing to weight saving). Finally, performance brake pads are fitted, to ensure confident stopping capability.
