MRT-Porsche Tectonic V1.0

The spirit of 80s and 90s racing brought to the present.

This is the Tectonic, an unrestricted prototype racer by Mearns Racing Technology.

Powered by a bespoke 5-litre flat 6 from legendary racing manufacturer Porsche, the team at MRT have supercharged the Tectonic to produce 1025hp @ 9000rpm and 750 lb/ft of torque @ 5600rpm. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1.25hp/kg, owing to MRT's dedication to weight saving, the Tectonic is difficult to tame but incredibly quick as the grip and downforce keep it glued to the racetrack.

Without the burden of turbo lag, the Tectonic reaches 60mph in just 2.4 seconds. Even with a huge rear wing, it can theoretically surpass a staggering 300 miles per hour. MRT proves its ethos of simplicity above all else with the Tectonic prototype.

This is just the beginning of the MRT-Porsche partnership.
