I really enjoy A LOT this mod. It´s really fun to fly around narrow places

I love it! I really can't wait to have a new version of it meaby with all the body pannels, different engine config or with a cockpit. I really like this plane and I love your work.

its an amazing mod, but its quite hard to use with a wheel because the X axis is messed up, but overall a good mod!

Could you add some guns to it? Imagine WW1 prop dogfights in beamp

defenently the pest plane mod out there. My only suggestion is maybe a slider for the throttle for joystick flying. other than that this mod is amazing and I look forward to more!

can't wait to see more this mod is amazing already though I suggest you make the controls similar to the rest of the aircraft mods.
other than that, 100% great mod love bushplanes -

Just wondering, will you make panels to cover the bush and make it more aeshtetic and make a sea plane config?

To the people having issues with it not flying press X on your keyboard, This Fixed It For Me. Also The Left Wheel Tends To Fall Off When Flying

I noticed the wheel always falls off and for the life of me i haven't figured out why. the beam strengths are the same, the shocks are the same, the amount of connecting beams are the same and symmetrical. It's a mystery to me

I'm having the same problem as the guy a few reviews down, i could get the plane flying the first time i tried it, now it won't fly no matter what gearbox mode i'm in, i tried deleting all other mods and restart the game and so on, but the propeller won't start spinning no matter what i do. The game also completely stopped telling me if i'm in Arcade or Realistic when i press Q, not sure if that's my fault and i did something in the settings or what. But i can still change gearbox mode using cars.

This is confusing, I've had little issues myself. Okay, so try to shift into gear and use the plane if it doesn't work, press (~\`) at the top left of the keyboard to view the consol. Look for any red text, those are bugs. and post a screenshot in the forums. (you can't reply to my reply in the review section)

i dont know if its just me but controller is impossible to configurate, it always tilts to the left, is this also a problem for anyone else?

Author's Response
Check you controller axis in the keybind section to see if there's stick drift. Or press all of the keys on the keyboard and release them to reset the values. (further replies have to go into the forums, you cant respond to a replay here. )

- 4/5,
I know used the mod for quite some time and have to say, that I enjoyed it pretty much. Nontheless, there are a few "issues" with this mod, which mostly are not really issues but more some things, which are off to me.
At the first, the controls are well made and it´s easy to fly, especially with controller, but I have a little issue with the key bindings.
For me, it´s quite difficult, to move the camera view, because, I usually do this with the numpad on my keayboard. Now, some of the buttons are for the plane controls, which makes me, everytime, I want to center the camera by reflex, control the plane.
Therefore, I would recommend, to change the keybindings. For example, I changed them to:
NUMPAD5 -> S
NUMPAD2 -> W
NUMPAD4 -> A
NUMPAD6 -> D
I did it like that, because on most of the planes, which are in real life controlled by an steer knob, when you move the knob towards you, the plane will lift up. Pushing the knob away of you will let the plane, to sink. I hope, this is somewhat understandable.
Another thing, which I encountered are some issues on the model. I usually check them out, because of my pc not beeing the best and here, I came about some inconsistence.
First of all, the model is well done, but in terms of polyflow and polyconsistence, it has quite some things to mention.
For example, the wheels are way to high poly. Beamng wheels don´t usually have a polycount of almost 10000. Using the same wheel, you used for the front for the back and just scale it down, is also a thing, I wouldn´t recommend. I for example managed it, just as a quick test, to scale the rear wheel polycount down to 256 and the polycount of one front wheel down to 640, whicl everything still looks good.
Another thing is the polycount on the body (the parts, which are modeled out, not the tube frame). Here, you should also optimize the polycount, at least a bit.
But the thing, which definetly is improvable, is the polyconsistence of the flaps and ailerons.
The right flap has for some reason a polycount of 4864, the right aileron a polycount of 1600. Both are quite high numbers, mentioning for what small parts of the model there are.
But the thing is: Why does the left flap has a polycount of 77824? And the left aileron a polycount of 102400, which is already half of the polycount the model as a whole has. I think, here should definetly happen some optimising.
I can help you with that, if you want, considering, that the optimisation is also a huge factor, when it comes to beamng modding.
But to bring this to an end, this is just my opinion. I really enjoy the mod, besides the mentioned things and hope, to see more content for it in the future!-

Thank you for all the feedback. I did not check to make sure i had the right export settings, those polycounts were not meant to be that high.

Its really fun, i like how it flies and such, really good. Will it get panels around the body?

Wow. Best physics, control and overall flight experience on the repo and forums for aircraft. Love it so much mate. I love flying this with my sim =)

Definitely the most controllable plane on the repository. Some body panels and an interior would be nice

- 4/5,
Was good in the brief time I actually had airtime with it, but I had a problem: the first time I took off, the engine throttled like it seems it's supposed to, and I took off; I crashed briefly thereafter since I was still trying to figure out the controls, and when I reset physics on it, now using the throttle didn't work. It wouldn't spin the propeller, just make a quiet engine sound; I could throttle up and down, but it wouldn't make the propeller spin. This persisted after continuing to reset physics and respawn it, and even replacing it with another vehicle and then replacing that vehicle with the plane again.
-
Author's Response
After you reset/respawned the plane did it revert to arcade behavior for the gearbox? You need to use realistic behavior and manually shift into drive. Assuming the engine's revs climbed when you throttled up then the throttle code didn't bug but the gearbox would've.

- 4/5,
good mod, but a couple problems. First one is that the fuel tank is about 4 feet underneath the aircraft. And also, could you please make it to where the rotor is always connected to the shaft? and lastly, could you add a throttle axis please? thanks.
-
Author's Response
The model is 4 feet below the aircraft or the jbeam? I'll try to look into that. As for the directly connecting the propeller, I don't know how to do that, i tried looking through other mods code but didn't figure it out. Trying to simply connect it gave me errors so i don't think its supported. I will try to add a throttle axis, that shouldn't be too hard.
