Love the Circuit, but after playing it a while it broke. Any way I can fix it?

First BeamNG race with AI, not every run works great but keep trying and it throws some real fun races at you.

- 2/5,
Honestly, I just didn't find many of these scenarios enjoyable. The bangar race is kind of fun, takes some getting used to driving on that dirt, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty good. That scenario is the highlight of the pack.
The Figure 8 special, while promising in concept, fails to deliver in action. The T series is just too slow to give the scenario the sense of speed and enjoyability it so desperately needs. If you manage to get in the lead by bullying yourself there, you will be too slow to gain enough of an advantage to actually demolish cars in the figure 8. You can just manage to stay in front of the pack by using the massive truck to bodyblock everyone else. The track is too narrow as well to fit multiple cars side by side, especially where it crosses itself.
The street race is a fun course, but is severely wounded by poor vehicle choice for the scenario. You are going up against powerful race cars, an SBR4, Bolide, Sunburst and 200bx in a stanced pessima. You have no chance to pass aside from one part in the beginning where the AI slows down for no reason, and even then the stanced pessima struggles to navigate around the pack due to its crippled suspension and tires. 9/10 you will wreck through no fault of your own. And once in the lead, it is very hard to keep, with an SBR4 always on your tail and beating you out of the corners with its superior acceleration and handling.
And the final scenario, the cross country checkpoint race, is the least enjoyable of the bunch. It is fatally wounded by poor vehicle choice. You have to navigate very harsh terrain in an overpowered, rear wheel drive street car with "rally tuning". The suspension can't take anything, and the fact that every other car you face is either FWD or AWD with proper rally or off road suspension only makes it more impossible. Time and time again I find myself with a damaged radiator, broken steering, or bent suspension by the third checkpoint. You can drive as carefully as you want, to try and avoid rolling the car and breaking vital components, but the properly equipped D Series, Roamer and rally pessima will pass you and leave you in the dust.
In conclusion, the majority of this pack is crippled by poor vehicle choices for the scenario at hand, making scenarios frustratingly hard or impossible to finish or just plain boring.
I have no issues with frames though, everything was running at at least 30 fps for me the whole time.-

I always enjoy some good criticism. I suppose I do try to make the scenarios somewhat hard by default, because of the fact that I tested them so often. The reason for OP AI cars is that the official AI is very cautious, making them very slow.
Circuit: Thanks, but I think this scenario suffers a lot from cars getting stuck. It's actually very easy to win if you enter/ exit the corners properly and stay away from opponents.
Figure 8: The issue lies within the map itself, at least partially. Getting stuck is even worse for the AI, because all they do is follow a certain path. This is mostly about smashing, so I thought the T series would allow the user to have some fun, without getting stuck or break as easily as with other vehicles.
Street Race: Use the manual transmission. It really helps a lot with putting the power done. I overtook cars later than the place where the AI slows down (they do so because that's how the AI is coded), too. And I had no problem staying in lead. Also, it's not the stanced Pessima.
Checkpoint Chase: You need to watch your speed and take a proper path. I agree that this scenario does have a lot of random elements, but it is entirely doable. I actually tuned the power of the AI cars down, as they were too fast for their own good.
I would be very glad to see your mod of those, though.
Fun fact: I'm playing with the keyboard.

- 5/5,
Probably my favorite mod scenario for now.
Maybe give the old yellow Pessima at the circuit race some brakes, otherwise it's all working well.-
Author's Response
Well, it's faster that way. Maybe I'll add some rear brakes though. IIRC the new Pessima only has the rear brakes as well. ;)

Thanks for noticing. Planning on doing some more scenarios, so the next one will be even better. ;)

- 5/5,
awesome. on the banger races i'm getting pretty solid 60 fps on my i5. (due to less parts on the cars)
having a lot of fun there.
but then there is the street race which is also fun but very cpu intensive.
but all in all this mod is very enjoyable-
Author's Response
Actually, that got me thinking about removing one or two AI opponents on that scenario. I know the parts and the map itself are doing no good, so maybe it's just better off with 3 rivals?

- 4/5,
Well, im playing on less than 10 fps... Still very much fun. I love the uhlenkoperraces. Can you make a figure 8 map without the truck. I wanna race on there.
BTW does it count as a win if my truck dies 2 meters before the last checkpoint-

1. I know everybody wants something different, but if you really want to, you can easily mod it yourself: http://www.beamng.com/threads/multipack-races-against-the-ai.18024/#post-279761

You can also remove cars to get more FPS. If you need help, PM me.
2. No, any race requires you to cross the finish line to win. It's not a derby.
