Nero 700 1.0

Nero, having great engineers but since the early 90s lower and lower sales and less and less budget, presenting the 700, the first new Nero since 2005.
Nero-typical are the kinda weird styling, its double grill, the short rear and the use of a 4 cilynder engine in even the performance variant.
This car might be also their last one, as the companys sells are just too low for the last 15-20 years to make actual Profit. To reduce the engineerng costs, they based the Engine on the Koyote Vektor/Altair engine, but changed nearly everything except the technical base.
The versions:
The (rather expensive) fe is more a prove of engineering skills, as it has an efficeiency rate of 40% (with the modified vektor engine! Would be the worlds most efficient mass produced gasoline engine), 170hp and much more torque than you'd expect from the car. For using less then 5l at every common highway speed: use the cruise control.

The L is actually the cheapest variant at around 30-35k for the customer. It features 205hp, about 30% efficiency, and 300NM off torque at only ~3000rpm, so it's a great car for towing and a smart choice as a family car. It has awd and can also be fun to drive.

The S has 316hp and 415NM of torque (even better for towing and for powersliding. With a 5seated family friendly 4 banger car ), also AWD and is more driver focused than the others.


It isn't meant to be a sport car, or a family car, or anything else in specific, but it's designed to be the best compromise out of every category.

PS: every similarity between Nero and SAAB in the concept (different styling, 4c turbo) as well as the story (financial problems, models too old, one new model before going bust) etc is *completely coinsidental* and i didn't take real brands and think about how I would have made it etc. NEVER...
