Intro
Whilst Otnas Kucing was dominating the Group B rallying, Otnas enters the Tamtam Esprit 3.0 24-Valve to Group A touring car racing. The Tamtam Esprit was developed first before the lesser and more civil trims, which means they have a lot freedom to build the Tamtam Esprit to be one of the best in its class.

Powertrain

The Otnas Tamtam Esprit 3.0 24-Valve is powered by a FUTURA 6 3.0 litre Inline 6 24-valve unit. The engine will produce 254hp at 6900rpm and 299.5Nm at 5400rpm. The car is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, and has a Torsen limited-slip differential.

Tuning parts such as intake parts, stroker kits, performance exhaust, and turbocharger is available to be used.

Chassis

The Otnas Tamtam shares its platform with the Otnas Kucing. However the Otnas Tamtam has its engine mounted longitudinally, between the front axle to ensure the car would have a balanced handling. The front/rear weight distribution is 53F/47R. The car has four-wheel double wishbone suspension that optimizes wheel contact to the ground.

The car has three driving modes:

1. Comfort (Soft dampers)

2. Regular (Normal Dampers)

3. Sport (Hard Dampers)

The Tamtam Esprit 3.0 24-Valve sits lower than the Tamtam Zen Turbodiesel. The car has stiffer springs, wider tires, bigger brakes, and stiffer sway bars to ensure better handling at the racetrack. Suspension parts are available too for this car.
