With a new car company comes new innovations, new strides and new ventures into places that other companies might not have gone yet, and it was with the introduction of the 1946 Phantom Majesty with a wagon body and two variations of engines that this had really began shining for Phantom Motors.
With people saying it smooth transitions in both the transmission and braking which had been a majority of people's reactions, there where people who also like the shape and styling of the body as well, comparing it to something of a boat but with the handling of a city car.
Including a new 8 valve Inline 4 engine, the vehicle is capable of a top speed of 108 km/h (67.1 mph) thanks to it’s 4 speed manual transmission. And with indicators both front and rear including tail lights, the vehicle is able to be a lot more safer with just that as a starting point. The included freestyle doors allow the vehicle to be open easier during an accident and with drum disks, the vehicle can brake easier with 15 inch rims included with the vehicle.
Included in the Majesty series is two new engines, a 1.6 Litre and a 1.7 Litre 8 valve Inline 4 with a carburetor fuel intake achieving only 18.2 L per 100kms (42.80 mpg)*
One new change to the vehicle is the single lined three seat standard interior with included softened steering wheel and dash interiors to help prevent injury during an accident, another feature brought to the Majesty was Dual front and rear Headlights, Tail Lights and Indicators.
Safety is thought about all in through the car in the Majesty with soften dash and steering wheel materials and Dual Tail and Headlights. With 240mm Disk brakes, the vehicle is able to stop from 108 km/h to 0 in just 5 seconds without brake lockup.
The 1.6 Litre engine had been introduced a year later in order to try and appeal to other customers who wanted a cheaper option, which had driven the price down by 1%
Series Production had gone relatively well, which ended in 1953 and had shipped well on 2,300 models of the majesty. With how many sales the vehicle had maintained, the Majesty has gone to live on a good enough life to have been loved by enough people within the car community and some vehicles are still roaming the streets with an outstanding condition
*Fuel range is subjected to the 1.7 litre inline 4, 1.6 litre Inline 4 achives 17.6L per 100kms (41.39 MPG)
