Phaser Gambler 1.0

The Phaser is a regular late 80s Japanese import hatch with a cheap carbureted 1.6 litre engine.

This example has been converted into the ultimate inexpensive crawler by hacking apart the drivetrain and lifted suspension from a highly popular 80s Japanese pickup truck, giving it locking wheel hubs and a low range gearbox. The engine has also been given a perk up with a bigger carb, and some custom exhaust work. This Frankenstein machine is the result of many long nights spent in the garage with a welder and an angle grinder.

This car represents something I've always wanted to make both in-game and in the real world. I hope you enjoy tearing around the desert in this mini monster!
