This small blue box emerged from Phoenix Automotive in 1985, as an attempt at making a family car with a powerful, yet efficient engine. The Lenay came with a 3.8 liter, 250 horsepower v6, driving the front wheels through a 4 speed automatic transaxle. Unfortunately, due to heavy understeer and high production costs, the Lenay never took off, and only about 5,000 were produced. Today, Lenays are considered collectable (for whatever reason), and with a 0-60 of 6 seconds flat, the Lenay makes a decent highway puller.
Price in 1985, $19,285-$45,283 in 2020![]()
