I loved this map a lot! Gradually ascending twisty roads till the top; I felt like literally I'm driving on Pikes Peak. Well, it took me 1 1/2 hour to reach the top of PP (not joking :P).

Being able to reliving the bad old days of Climb Dance, before prototypes could compete was a big reason I made it. A bumpy gravel version was a must have.

Best mountain map I've ever driven on. Felt just like driving up Pike's Peak IRL. (I drove a Chevy Van all the way up it 2 years ago)

Scaled the map in a Pigeon, in only 18 minutes. Talk about edge of your seat action! Took plenty of screenshots, too. Averaged 62 MPH. Supercharged 600cc variant. Never rolled it. Whole lot of fun. 10/10

Thanks! I've never been there IRL, but its on my bucktlist. I feel like I know it pretty well by now. Id also like to mountain bike there and through the Grand Canyon.

Hands down the best map mod of all time. It took me so long, but I finally reached the top in 10:26 with the Sunburst Hillcimb (ABS enabled and turbo at 30PSI).

You managed to make a map that runs smoothly, is 20 miles long (holy crap!), and super challenging. There's only a couple areas that could be smoothed out, but they're super small and not that rough. I hope to see more maps like this from you in the future!

I'm glad your having fun with it. The Sunburst Hillcimb is super sketchy on this map, so congratulations on summiting. Ive found the ETK race versions to be quite nice. The K-Series Trackday is awesome if you remove the front diff and traction control.

A fantastic map accurately reproducing the world's most famous hillclimb. The smooth and twisty road is a blast to drive on, and with the scenery it creates a really accurate rendition of the real road.
It's also pretty fun to time trial on, especially because we can compare our times with the real pilots.
    Great work!

Just amazing, very good work on that new mesh road. Hope you find time to finish some of those dirt roads.

Thanks, I'm getting creative with the dirt roads. There's plenty of rugged terrain to explore, especially around the top. It just needs to be fleshed out a little. Id like to develop a few of the foot paths for sure.

Awesome map! But a strange thing that happens is on the paved version there are red squares on the horizon from almost any point of view.

    Just WOW!

Thanks for this beautiful map, I always wanted to have Pikes Peak in BeamNG Drive as I always drove this map on Dirt Rallye.
This map is currently my favorite map in BeamNG, you did a great work there :)

    But one question/suggestion I have:
Would it be possible to make the mountainsides more sticky/grippy so the cars roll faster when you get off the track? This would add much more realsim and destruction fun ;)

Thanks for the Mod, I look forward to upcoming Updates :)

Switching the rock ground model to sand might do the trick. It's much grippier for body panels and will deter cutting straight up the twisty section. Most of the barren terrain is basically pavement. I have tested sand for the area beside the road, but it pretty much grabs cars off the road and eats them.

This is so sweet man. Perfect for the recent hotfix that fixed the FFB. Now that I can trust the cars, routes like this are epic! I used to run Pike's Peak on rFactor1 a lot and the corners feel very similar.

I think that untill now Richard Burns Rally was the best rally experience, you could have, not anymore. All BeamNG needs is more rally cars and arranged events.

    Great job man.

Thanks, it's great to get a fellow modder/simracer's opinion. I get that same feeling as I did woth RBR too, especially when things go horribly wrong. FYI, the rF track was the first one I ever modeled.
