Porsche 964 1.0

The Porsche 964 is a continuation of the 924 and 944 models. It is powered by a tuned VW GTI engine that makes 275 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a 6 speed manual transmission, and to the rear wheels through a geared LSD. The 3,200 lb coupe goes from 0 to 60 in a quick 5.1 seconds, and through the quarter in 13.51. It pulls 1.06 Gs, and stops from 60 to 0 in 115.7 feet. Inside, it has all the amenities a Porsche buyer would expect. The 964 starts at $35k and gets 35 miles per gallon. This one is painted in Porsche’s iconic Guards Red.

Styling is based on a combination of the 718 and the Panamera. I feel like it is a decently cohesive design that shows what a modern entry level FR Porsche could look like.

In Beam, it is very predictable. Boost comes on quick and smooth, and with ESC off, it has very neutral handling at the limit and can be steered with the throttle. If it's not enough car for you, the 964 S is coming soon!
