Quebec Skins for the Crown Victoria

  1. Frank1294
    Hello!

This is a work in progress skin + parts for the Maxxies Crown Victoria (https://www.beamng.com/threads/98-11-ford-crown-victoria-v2-6-2023-07-24.84582/) . At a further date it will include other vehicles as more skins gets created.

Compatible with Maxxies Crown Victoria V2.6
    I highly recommend using
https://www.beamng.com/resources/iyb-pack-of-all-the-canadian-number-plates.8310/ To have the correct licence plate on the configs.

    New parts and Flash patterns:

    Taillights Strobes:
This taillight adds a strobe in the lower part of the taillight where on older taillight it used to have an amber turn signal light. The lens is all red. This type of strobe is widely used in the province of Quebec Crown Vics. To use this feature properly any setup must first select the "SQ Taillights"

then under the roof accessory, taillight flashers: SQ Strobes

Headlight Wig wags and "P71" Tailight + Reverse light Wigwags
The headlight Wigwag is pretty self explanatory, it flashes in a fast pattern left and right. There is a secondary mode where it slows down the flashing to matches the Quebec MX7000's Takedown's. It still can be used in other configs.

The "P71" Wig wags is a simple wigwag pattern between the taillights and the reverse of the crown victoria as seen here on this youtube video:

You need to first select both under the Taillight Flasher and Reverselight Flasher the "P71 WIGWAGS"

    See it in action:

    Quebec MX7000 Lightbar:

First of all, all credit goes to Maxxie for the lightbar itself. I've only edited the way the light flashes, and takedowns to match the one used in Quebec province.

It comes in the SQ red and blue to match the Surete du Quebec Patterns, SPVM Red and blue which as the name says, its a red and blue that matches the one used at Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal. finnaly an all red version, which is pretty much like the SQ red and blue, but all red.

    Skins:

    Sureté Du Quebec 2004 & 2008:
These are both highway units "Autoroutier" they both match the equipment these unit would have and decals.

The 2008 version comes with the legacy mx7000 that could be found on some autoroutier units with the Talons lights and pushbar's. There is also an included ZTEP 102 Wail Siren.

Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal 2002:

This is the SPVM skin found on cars around 2002 just after the (Service de police de la Communauté urbaine de Montréal, SPCUM) was replaced by the SPVM The main logo has thence the SPCUM written vs the Montreal one on it.

    Urgence Santé Superviseur 1990's:

This unit is a Crown victoria used by supervisor of Quebec governement main paramedic group Urgence Santé. This unit is Solely based on an old picture :
    Urgences Santé Superviseur
    by Gerard Donnelly, on Flickr

This unit was mainly seen wherever a supervisor was needed. This is more of a paramedic/first responder vehicle then patrol unit.

    Controle Routier SAAQ:
The dreaded Controle routier (DOT) of the province of Quebec. Its main duties are to inspect heavy truck and perform inspections/road side check just as DOT would. This unit features some Grille lights and Talons, yet still Having the classic MX7000.

    Thats it for now!

A big thanks to https://www.beamng.com/members/bart2708.397868/ for extensive testing of the skins and police parts.
