A step by step guide for the interior would be pretty time consuming to do.

If you mean the actual interior 3D modelling, that is no different to any other type of 3D modelling. So any online 3D modelling tutorials should teach you the stuff you need to know.

If you mean the infotainment system: I did start writing some guide material for that on the wiki, but I never got around to finishing it.

That should in theory be possible to do. But, I have other projects that I am working on including a new car with a better infotainment system. So if someone fancies doing that as a mod, they are welcome to do so (as long as they give me some credit), but I'm probably not going to do it.

Shouldn't be any different to your normal key map? The dashboard shows the indicators are on with green flashing areas, from what I remember the should have front and rear indicators functioning. However, it is only the flares that are working, the textures don't change.

If I understand your question correctly, it is the fuel economy gauge. For this mod it is currently MPG only. Currently I don't have any plans for that to change, but it might do some day.

The drive mode selector does not change the cars performance. It is purely for changing the dashboard display mode.

Its super awesome to hear that you like the digital dashboard. You may also be interested to hear that I have another car in the works, which has a much cooler digital dashboard integrated. But I haven't shown off that dashboard yet. There is media of the vehicle floating around the in the development screens thread if you want to see more :p

I would say there are quite a few things in the 3d model that are not that realistic.
In terms of the physics, it is accurate to what I wanted the character of the car to be like at the time. That said, it does have some very "unique" quirks and features that you don't see very often, such as McPherson strut suspension on all 4 corners, when I don't think I have ever seen it used on the rear suspension of a real car.

Not sure how much difference it will make to the overall experience, but EU plate support was added in an update. So if you want that, go grab it :)
