Built in 1960, the Renner Radium was a nuclear powered concept car of the future. Unlike Ford, who tried to make their Nucleon concept sensible, Renner wanted to see just how far they could push the bounds. At its peak, the Radium's nuclear motor produces an astounding 1,130 hp, though only 525 N*m of torque. With this immense power, the Radium could achieve over 250 mph, though its small tires struggle to manage at such high speeds. As an additional way to show off, the top of the Radium's reactor is covered with leaded glass so everyone can see its beautiful blue glow.![]()
