Alpha RWD Drift Covet 1.0

A homebrew monster

This mod adds a crazy turbocharger and RWD to the Ibishu covet. The tubo can be selected under "Engine", in the turbocharger slot. The RWD can be selected under the 'front differential' slot.

Note: It is labelled "Welded", but it is at this time still a LSD, because something breaks when I tried to make it a welded differential.

One save is included with the mod - the drift configuration. It is based on the street tuned version, and has most exterior pieces removed (such as fenders). I was split about whether or not to remove the hood, so I added the carbon fiber hood.

There are a couple things left to do:
    • Add a driveshaft that can break (well, it technically can break, but not as it should)
    • Add a driveshaft to the rear wheels and remove the front driveshaft.
RollerXXL, KITT2000 and Squatch32560 like this.

    Very nice.
One bug(may be due to tyre physics):
Rear tyres get bigger with speed(same problem with VarietyMod)
Set drive ratio to 2, use node grabber to lift rear and put in 5th, then rev and drop the clutch. Watch.

Woah. I did some preliminary testing, and didn't notice that. It definitely is fun to watch though.

Of course, the Covet was never really designed to be RWD, which may be why this is happening.
