While looking through the game files for the Civetta Scintilla, I found this unused skin file called 'madowl', which looks almost identical to the Dark Owl skin. The Dark Owl movie car was probably called 'Mad Owl' at some point during the development process, with this being its skin.

The only noticeable difference between the two is that the Mad Owl has a more rugged/worn look, its accent colours are slightly less vibrant, and the texture on the spoiler seems to be rotated 90 degrees. It is clear that this was an early design that still needed some fixes, though I personally quite like the more worn look.
