Sealed beam headlights for the 1989 Pessima and MORE!!! FMVSS 108(c)

    it is the year 1769, and takedashi ibishu is starting work on the all new 1988 ibishu pessima, but then ww1 and ww2 happens and it gets delayed. as takedashi ibishu started designing the car in 1769 with then current regulations in mind, it was given sealed beam headlights, as it was not cost effective to alter the design and delay it any further it was released in 1988 with sealed beam headlights.

    • sealed beam headlights, a hood thats better than vanilla and all other required new bodypanels, with working uvs - i think
    • luggage rack, antenna, one off truly bespoke wheels and a new biblically accurate brown interior for the Road Cruiser® package

    credits: im pretty sure i actually did everything myself on this one, apart from like @direct_UA saying the luggage rack is 10mm too wide and has one too many bars or something, and also fixing it

    Since were on the theme of USDM compliance, could you make that the front turn signal light turns on with the headlights, and make it possible to remove the fender signal?

      fair point, but, not sure if they should turn on with the headlights, as they aren't separate side markers, unless they can serve the same purpose but that seems like it could cause confusion, i guess i could consult the federal motor vehicle safety standards to find out. ill see about adding an option to remove the fender indicators too.

    Excellent and cool. I would like to see a chrome skin but with the black plastic stuff replaced with chrome and a digital dashboard. Looking forward to nice stuff.

      making chrome headlight shrouds is something i wanted to do originally, then realized i would have to bake a separate set of emissive textures for them, which is a bit of work, but i might get around to doing that eventually. a digital dash is something beyond my capability currently though. requires html and probably lua magic, which i dont know how to do, or abuse of ridiculous counts of materials and glowmaps and probably some simpler lua magic.

    88 pessima needs a chrome grill no Japanese midsize car from the late 80s or early 90s had absolutely no option for a chrome grill, same with window trim

    I love the pre 1986 look! Also I wish I could give it 6 stars because it has realistic lore that actually doesn't conflict with any other mods or the game's lore itself!
