why is this even allowed on the repo
and even putting that aside who thought that a driving game usually played by children or young adults would be the best place to advertise your car rental company

Horrible mod, my pc was on life support while running this and the ads are just outrageous.

Disappointing level of ads and product placement. The map is otherwise good quality, optimisation aside. Shame that it is littered with Sixt marketing everywhere you look.

I understand that quality maps take a lot of time and resources. Spencer's maps are great, and I am sure that the investment from Sixt was beneficial - but I know it can be tedious to meet the demands of large corporate companies.

I am not completely against the ads on a free map, but they are excessive. Things like the SIXT logo being prominent on houses, and the billboards themselves contrast too much against the surroundings. Perhaps if the billboards were less frequent and possibly amongst other lore-friendly adverts. Limiting advertisements to the racetrack and event areas where you'd expect to see ads and sponsorship in real life. Even replacing the licensed car models in the adverts with lore-friendly models (if Sixt corporate would allow)

I understand the reasoning but it has not been well received. It falls short of the general community spirit of the game. Paid mods are controversial but ultimately separate from the game. This does not fit in the repository with this level of advertisement.

The map has a lot of potential and I have a lot of faith in Spencer's mods. They have been receptive and vocal with the community following the release and I will return to review my rating when the updates have been released.

OMGGGG

On paper, a collaboration between a real-world company (SIXT) and a respected BeamNG modder (Spencer Johnson) would have been a win-win for both parties involved. In practice however, this map ends up being more of a hastily marketing campaign attempt with subpar optimization than a legitimately decent piece of content to explore around.

And while there will be an update to reduce the amount of advertising, this initial release will serve as a cautionary tale for major companies wanting to interact with a video game's community: don't overpromote your business. Especially if said business has had a mixed reputation online and in the real world.

ads for big companies have no place on the repo. poor quality map and the company itself is known to be garbage in real life, and advertises unsafe and low quality real car mods for beam on social media platforms

A fun map, not a fan of the advertisements at all. The map has pretty poor optimization. And does it really have to be 2.4GB?

This map is not great, first thing, why are you putting adds in a beamng map, it's just not right.
none of this is spencer's fault it's the makers and SIXT's fault.

Tried it and the FPS was very low. Is this because of the adverts?

this map is way better after you go in the world editor (f11) and delete all advertisement related stuff.

I ended up downloading this map, Giving it a fighting chance with all these reviews.
Honestly Never saw BeamNG turn into a AD revenue for some company that caters to a class of people.
Even BeamNG does not advertise their stuff in maps (that I am aware of)
I am going to agree with some and say this is pretty crappy to shove a pretty clean map and crap on it will so many ads and graffiti, It looks unrealistic. Made me look into SIXT and I am not pleased with the reviews for them.
The loading time was not bad for me. 20 seconds tops.
But driving in game I experience lag spikes when I roll by SIXT Graffiti...
(I hope this ad pull does not become a normal) its weird and makes the game not feel good, feeling like just a platform for ad selling...
All out though, Good map Spealer, crappy approach with the ad marketing.

Objectively, it's a solid map. Good for solo/friends co-ops exploring

I mean...this is made by Spencer, an "okay" is the worst you can get from this lad, let alone this map is packed with fun roads and various terrains. Pretty detailed too, which might be the reason the optimazation is taking a big hit.

Breaching the guideline or not (Which is probably a special occasion that's sanctioned by repo/official team, since nobody is bold enough to impersonate a legit business and do this kinda stuff lmao). SIXT logo, due to the brand side's request, I guess, is literally everywhere.
This is a little bit too much and has more of a negative effect rather than a positive to the brand. Whoever is in charge of this request really needs to dive deeper into how kids on the internet behave these days.

If placed where it fits, blend them into the map, I think at least 1/3 to 1/2 pepo would be less aggressive on this. But hey, this is the internet, what did I know?

Overall, it's worth a try. Don't let the lines of negative comments scare you off.

Also the advertising goes against rules of repo so idk i think imma pass here on a shitty map
