The Skoda Octavia is a small C-segmant (same size as a golf, focus etc) family car produced by the Czech car manufacturer Skoda since the end of 1996. Since 1996, the mighty Octavia has gone through 4 generations, each offering either a 5 door liftback or an estate body style. Roughly 5 million Octavias have been sold, making it the most popular Skoda around.
The Octavia is based on the Volkswagen PQ35 platform, which is shared with the Volkswagen Golf (mk5), Audi A3 (mk2), Volkswagen Jetta (mk5) and SEAT Leon (mk2).
This automation mod is my attempt at recreating the 2nd generation (pre facelift) Octavia, sporting a 1.4MPI developed by Volkswagen. Here's some technical info:
- 1.4L Multi Point Injection 4 cylinder
- 75hp
- 83ft/lb Torque
- Curb weight is 1,265kg (2,789lbs)
- Length is 4.6m (15ft)
- Average 34 MPG (41 MPG UK)
