Experimental Spilt's Customizable Engines (SCE) 0.0.4

Adds realistic, deeply customizable engines

SCE is a mod that adds customizable engines

SCE Stands for "Spilt's Customizable Engines"

    Currently available engines:

    • F4
    • i5
    • i6
    • V8
    • W12
    • More to come...
Each of the engines has a lot of parts which changes their stats

    Forced Induction:
    • You can turbocharge with a max of 4 Turbos
    • You can supercharge with different types of superchargers
    • You can even twincharge!
    Components:
    • Pistons
    • Piston rings
    • Headgaskets
    • Block materials
    • A lot more! (And even more planned!)
    The Wear System (From V0.0.3)
This system allows you to degrade parts while driving

Now you can't just fit a cast iron part with all Forged and give it 1000Nm or the engine goes kaboom and Piston Number 4 might knock on your door

Instead, now you need to actually upgrade everything to give it more power, like real life

Multiple things affect the wear of the parts, such as Power,Temperature, RPM and Oil

You can make your race cars last 24 hours, of full driving, but you need to know how

Drag cars with... say a 6L V8 making 1750Nm and Titanium Components will not last that much due to the insane torque put on them

    And yes,there are pre-damaged parts

There are a lot of components! These are just a few!

Current models use the game's one on supported cars (Only the V8 For the bx)
You CAN use these engines on other cars trough License Plates,be warned that you WILL need an engine with a transmission in the car or the engine from the mod won't work!

To get another engine model in any car with the license plate slot i suggest using the license plate engines, even on supported cars until i add my own if i do

Supported cars (Can use from Engine selector):

    • BX
    • Pickup (D-Series)
    • Sunburst
    • ETK-I Series
    • More to come with updates...

    Lore:

"SCE is a line of engines made by Velocity
They started in 2010, offering countless customization options and aftermarket parts made directly by Velocity as well as a website to make your own engine on where you could customize every tiny little detail
In the modern day they are still going strong and are famous among the tuners while keeping the line updated with new parts and fitting vehicles with their engines to sell and use"
Little Disclaimer: The name "Velocity" is a fictional company name i've made up for the BeamNG Universe, therefore,it is not associated with any real life company

    MOD IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
IT'S EXPERIMENTAL AND IN ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT

This mod is absolutely phenomenal! Yes it's still in developement, but the things it's already capable of doing is insane! Easy 5/5 stars! Can recommend.

Giving 5 stars just because of the wear system. That's something I've been waiting years for in Beam; I would love to see it ported as a universal feature for all engines and cars in-game! And don't be discouraged by the other people who do not see the bigger picture. I also may be in the minority, but I find RK engines overly complex and unrealistic. This is nicely done.

The Wear system is going to get expanded even more, this is just the start XD
I do agree with you on the RK Mod,but nonetheless I still enjoy it a lot, it's a beautiful mod!
      Thanks for the review!

It is still experimental,I'm adding on to it,it isn't meant to be a direct competitor of RK,Just a nice Engine Mod
I would appreciate some... Better feedback
Cause this tells me absolutely nothing
I want to improve as much as I can,but to do so,I need to know what's actually bad
Thx for the review either ways
