I just discovered this mod doesn't interact well with the Universal Weapons mod: firing the howitzer with any armored body has the potential to not just cause an instability, but outright make the game unresponsive. You might want to take a look at that, assuming anything can be done about it.

the front blue beacon lights randomly deform when used with the roll cages, but the "amber" ones seem to work fine. not sure why its happening but nonetheless a great mod

Thanks for the review! That's a weird bug, it hasn't started happening until recently If I have time I might look into it

I love that the LAPV can handle the Belaz easily, yet feels completely realistic. also i know this is in the known bugs section, but the floppy ram is the BEST thing ive every beamnged, very thick noodle.

The mod is cool, very well-developed, but I have a very big problem when spawning any branded machine, then my PC freezes completely and it is no longer possible to play even if you close the game, it is impossible to use the PC unless you reboot through the case

      Author's Response
That's odd, I did some testing in the latest game version and was not able to replicate your issue. Could it be that you have an older system that has a difficult time loading the vehicle, as this is sometimes a rather performance heavy mod? I cannot think of any other potential causes for this problem, there seems to be nothing wrong with it on my end.

This mod is fantastic and its a lot of fun in police chases. However, I have a few suggestions for improvement:

    1. Stability: The truck tends to roll over during collisions. Enhancing the tire thickness or improving the body structure could help mitigate this issue.

    2. Performance: The engine lacks power, resulting in insufficient speed and acceleration. Improving the engine would significantly enhance the overall experience.

    3. Customization: Adding more options for armor customization would be a great addition. It would not only enhance the truck’s durability but also add more customization modifying their vehicles.

    4. Typos: There are a few typos in the configuration settings that need correcting.

Overall, it's an amazing mod with a lots of potential for further improvements.

      Thanks for the review!

If you use the fully protected body option, its JBeams extend almost fully to the ground which helps prevent it from flipping. Perhaps I can direct more weight to the base on other body styles to assist those.

I'll probably be adding a more powerful engine tune option for higher-end configs

There are certainly more armor styles coming, I've actually already completed a wheel-plated widebody :)

I'll look into the typos... I should probably start writing the descriptions in a word processer first so it catches any errors, lol

A few bugs I noticed: the High Pressure Turbocharger's whine never fully goes away unless you reset the car and some configs have incorrect weight data.

Other than that, great job! In fact, I feel like we could get an 8x8 variant, since there seems to be enough space between the front and rear (not rear rear) axles to put an extra axle.

      Author's Response
      Thanks for the review,

Give the turbocharger a couple of seconds, and the turbo whine will spool down eventually. Nothing about it has been changed since the mod's release.

As mentioned in the notes section, I did not input values in the vehicle selector yet, so the stated weight is not accurate to reality

I'll be thinking of an 8x8, it has certainly crossed my mind as well :)

So extreme, whenever it's about to die, it takes the entire fabric of space-time with it XD
It'd be neat to have nerfed, weaker versions of it, though. The base Stambecco with rollcage is already very tough (even the Destroyer is hard-pressed to damage it).

      Author's Response
      Thanks for the review :)
The base rollcage is probably the strongest vanilla part, I may have gone a tad overkill by armoring it further lol. I do like the idea of having a "base" model though.

This is probably the first great armored vehicle in beamng. also can you tell me how you made it strong?
    1. 4NT4R3S
      Author's Response
      Thank you for the review!
To make it strong, I modified its JBeams to increase its strength and weight while decreasing its deformability, allowing it to behave similar to how one would in reality since it's technically same concept.

Fixed in version 2.01, it spawned with the wrong engine block
