This is my submission to the Gambler 500 competition.
This car was bought of a sketchy site for 450$ as a import from the UK, and modified with an: turbo from a sport model of the clubman, "roof rack" for storage, mudguards, skidplate and aux. headlight. rest is stock.
The car itself is a 3 door hatchback from the '70. It is the Cross-country which means that is is a 4x4 lifted version of the standard car.
The engine is a stupidly reliable for the subject, turbocharged 1.6cc I4 making roughly 157hp
The vehicle is pretty capable being able to traverse all types of terrain with relative ease, except rocks and water. As for driving, it is pretty quick and nimble, but what kill's it is the automatic transmission. But, I personally like it.
Features!

-oh, working snorkel that, in fact, doesn't work because my "programing poruess" couldn't make it work so I removed it
-"cricket noises"
-yes
As for personal significance, it is what you would call it, my "Opus Magnum".
ok, so... that's the car. Not exactly the norm, but its something
