    Hello all, I have been working on a new experimental vehicle that actually kind of works in beam. Here is the

    TC42 Construction Crane.

    This vehicle is extremely tall. 3 possible heights consisting of 60m, 80m, and 271m.
    It has a working rotational swivel joint and is able to lift things via brute force or coupling nodes (L)
    The jib of the crane can withstand ~40 tons of downwards force.

    Features:
    • ~75 degree rotational swivel joint
    • Functional hook and movement
    • Fully breakable
    • 2 jib types
    • 3 different heights (80m, 60m, 271m {Adjustable}
    • 9 configs
    • Interior light
    • BeamNav
    • Horn
    • Beacon light
    • 4 different props (Cylinders, metal beam, metal beams, shipping container)
    {Pick up props using the coupling function while playing the props, not the crane, or else it wont work}

    Notice: For the 271m config(s), the height is a lot to handle for most situations. This is because it's meant to be ADJUSTABLE with WORLD EDITOR by dragging the crane up or down.

    Bugs/WIP/Problems:
    • Limited to ~75 degree rotation
    • Textures are bland
    • No skin compatibility
    • Hooking mechanism is odd

    This is the first of it's kind regarding BeamNG mods as far as I know, so please review this in regards to it's experimental functions, not it's basic Jbeam, modelling aesthetics or sound.

    Very nice prototype, I'm taking a very close look at it as I want to make a few cranes and monster machines myself and never made a mod. If I understand it right the rotation issue is in the beams of the top rotor. Using Ctrl b you can see the beams and when you turn the bottom square is connected to the top square 4 times. Turning it stretches the beams but eventually they reach a limit and resist rotating by not stretching anymore. To get the rotor to spin, it will need only a single connector node in-between the two. This makes a little issue with stability so I see why it's square and braced, but the square is the restriction on rotation. Excellent modeling I like the way it's done
