Basically made this in automation trying to make the ultimate vehicle for causing epic destruction/havoc in beamng with traffic/police turned on. It may not be pretty but it is really hard to kill and has ridiculous pushing power. You can end up with several cars jammed in the front and keep going like they aren't even there. Even with a tire puncture, it doesn't bother it much really. Even losing a front wheel, and it will still go and somehow steer even pretty well.
Technically I could gear it further for speed, it doesn't translate the same to beamng so it can go higher, but this is really pointless anyway. You're more likely to survive longer and actually have more fun going less fast.
Ideal Strategy for playing:
Future Dev
- Traffic/police turned on (obviously)
- More fun when you stay in the correct lane of travel as you will not only last longer but incur more vehicles stuck in the front which is pretty awesome.
- Try to aim for hitting stuff as much dead center as possible. This will make it the most likely that things won't get pushed into the front wheels and thus it will last longer.
- Stay on road/flat ground. It will not handle elevations at all.
- Ideally play this on a map with really long freeways. The default maps just aren't big enough. The "American Roads" map on highway is literally perfect.
- Keep all the differentials locked. Except the front if you entirely lose a front wheel (puncture won't matter). Front is somewhat optional anyway, but highly recommend rear/center lock.
The base body style credit goes to Gizmo_Props (78's TopKek (truck bodies and fixtures))
- Always trying to find new ways to make the front wheels survive longer
- Maybe try and figure out actual gearing for full use of top speed
- Maaaaaaaaaaaybe bother to make an interior.
- It could use tweaking further to prevent it bottoming a bit at times. It's a tricky situation with this body. The fix for it, adjusting the body molding in a certain area, or upping tire size will cause other issues too (survivability wise). It is a fairly good balance currently.
It isn't perfect, it isn't pretty, and maybe someone else has done this better. It is fun, and I enjoy the heck out of it. Mostly uploaded this for friends anyway, so don't get salty about anything. Thanks!
Edit: Sorry I just realised I should have put this under Automation not Vehicles Land. Can't find a way to change it though. Hopefully the approval moderator or what not can move this? Thanks!
