Welcome to the BeamNG Science Testing Facility (BSTF)! You have been provided a fast SBR in lightning blue for that extra fast feel. Some levels feature an offroad edition of the SBR for more suspension travel.
How did you get here you ask? Well...you see, funny story; The BSTF was having some power issues so we "found" this infinite energy disc to solve energy consumption rates. However, turns out infinite energy is not stable...at all. So, we need you to destroy it. The energy disc is inside one of our most complex puzzle cubes so intruders could not steal it. The energy disc is behind 8 cubes, each being a puzzle harder than the last for...security reasons. Don't worry, everyone at the BSTF believes in you! Only 14 people out of 14 people have died so far, that is consistency you won't get anywhere else!
This tutorial will introduce some basic mechanics that will be implemented in the coming puzzle cubes. As more mechanics feature into the cubes, a quick tutorial at the start of the puzzle will inform you. Key information will be displayed throughout the scenario when you go through a waypoint. However, here is some very IMPORTANT information about portals and cubes (there are quite a few but it is very important you understand the mechanics and limits of this so make sure you read it atleast once!) This will be displayed in all the scenarios so you always have them:
Information:
Cubes can be easily pushed but DO NOT hit them too hard or they will bounce around and be hard to move where you want it
There may be more than one cube per level but should be placed in the most logical portal; otherwise it will not trigger correctly!
Portals will NOT trigger (always) when drving in backwards as the trigger occurs at the front of the vehicle
Portals are linked by colour; a blue portal leads to another blue portal
Direction AND momentum are conserved when going through a portal; ie, if a portal is on the west wall and so is the linked portal, then you will still be facing the west direction and be travelling a velocity in the direction west
Portals are not a one-way transaction (those who have only one direction will be placed in unreachable areas); each portal leads to its corresponding colour
Black portals only allow BOXES through; your car cannot go through them
Do not go through the portal too fast (10 MPH) or you may crash into a wall on the other side or loop back and forth between portals.
Boxes can enter portals, even if they are not black
The number above the box deposit area tells you how many boxes can be placed there; some deposit areas move objects with every box given, some only move objects when ALL boxes are given
The picture shown when triggering gravity shows the gravity that will activate
Anvils where boxes can be deposited means that a wall can be moved but requires more weight
Boxes do not constantly trigger when stationary in a deposited area; you will need to remove and move them into the area again to trigger the event
