Thomas Sakin III 1.0

It's 1970 last year (for now) when Thomas shows its new Sakin model. A cheap sport car, for everyone, who can't buy Trako and don't need 4 full seats in his car.
But don't worry, Sakin III is a truly sport car. It's just cheap built, with cheap materials, basic equiped and good but relatively old motor under the bonnet.
BlueBox 04, known from the first half of the 60s, is used to drive both versions. Known from revolutionary Thomas Almaz II car, 2 litre iL4cylinder naturaly aspirated engine produces in this case 120 and 150HP which is really enough considering the low weight of the vehicle.
As always Sakin is available only in two variants. Base and really cheap 120RT with steel wheels, completly standard equipment, and suspension adapted direct from old Thomas Almaz II but adjusted for good grip and sporty driving without losing rest of comfort.
150RC is a bit more sophisticated, with alu wheels, some premium adds in equipment and gas dampers in suspension. That makes it more sporty but still cheap to buy and also in maintenance costs.
What makes new Sakin really special? This is a real sport car and with its performance can compete with many other sport cars on the track.
But on paper everything looks great and outside it was not so colorful.
Customers have not particularly appreciated the new model. Despite the low price, the basic version sold very poorly. The more expensive variant is a bit better, but far from expectations.
In fact, just a few months after the premiere the end of the Sakin line was announced. It was also announced that in the same year customers will recieve something completely new, which in the future will replace the Sakin model and at the same time will be a completely new quality.
Thomas Sakin III ended its life in 1973 with only 50,000 cars produced.
