Year 1965 brought one of the most important project of THR (Thomas Headquarter of Research) as it was LMT-01 Concept. It was nothing other then LeMans 24Hours Concept car which starts in P5.0 category. But not should.
Of course engine was one of the best and strongest in his class, but suspension and behaviour on breaking from high speed was a big problem. It's does't mean, the car was bad, bud need very, very many precision by driving. Much more as other competitors. But if You find your precision driving with it, reapy You with creazy speed by the corners and performace that is hard to believe, that car from '65 can drive like that. For example on special Automation race track in out from 3rd corner he can drive over 125km/h and on the arc after long straght in the same race track 230km/h fully stable is no problem at all. Broblem is when You must to break to the next corner. That's why THR LMT-01 never finished LeMans24. Drivers always crashed it before finish line...Long before. But believe me, You must to try it, to find out, how hard was to win LeMans in 1965.
Enjoy!
