Tiānshǐ TS3 1.0

The TS3 is in the compact sedan segment with a length of 4.6 meters and will be manufactured in China, in the Cancun factory under the Tianshi brand, a strategic ally of Rigel Motor and for years belonging to the Rigel Group. The TS3 is sold in low cost markets in China and Europe with a competitive price below 20 thousand euros. It was launched in 2018 and will be present in Europe, China, parts of Asia and the general Latin American market.

After the presentation of the complete range at the Shanghai show in 2017, along with the TC3, its hatchback twin, it has received small changes and today it is manufactured under the same platform as the Rigel Tinto or the Pizarro, the PTs01C platform. From the beginning it will have only two engines of Rigel origin, the 1.0 three-cylinder Ecoturbo gasoline with 122 hp and a 1.2 EcoDiesel with 117 hp. In addition, the transmissions, gearboxes and so on are shared designs with the Rigel Group.

It will be marketed in 4 versions worldwide. It will start from the Comfort version where we find a basic vehicle with hubcaps and halogen lights and we close with the Sport and Luxor finishes, both with correct technology for European standards such as adaptive speed control, parking sensors and camera and 6 airbags among others. The Luxor version differs from the Sport simply in other wheels and the 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Finally, a commercial working version called Basic is launched. In 2019 it will land in the European markets for the first time in its history. It will do so under Rigel license in its dealerships to guarantee parts and assistance.
