The Toyota Takedown TTGX was marketed as an all new, revived version of the 1999 sporty 2 door that was targeted for American markets. There were two models, the base Takedown and the Takedown AWTT. But in 2016, the revived the Takedown name. Teaming up with Dodge, the all new Toyota Takedown TTGX was revealed. It took inspiration from the Corolla and Dodge Charger. They remade and revived it's iconic twin-turbo V10, which was the 1yz fe, increasing just about everything of it. The 2yz fe is a 3.9 liter twin-turbo V10 making 397 hp @ 6300 rpm paired to a 6 speed sequential gearbox for the TTGX-Luxe model. The TTGX-Luxe model tops out at 180 mph. There are now 3 models currently running in production, being the TTGX, TTGX-Luxe, and the TTEGX, a crossover styled model. They have been running from 2016 to current day.
